Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in TV. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. In Texas, she started a new career in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Florida, Orlando. There she played various roles ranging from local independent films to world-wide commercials. Even though she had small roles, she quickly realized her passion for acting. She then moved in New York in 2001 and landed her very first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. She had minor roles on JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. In 2004 she was cast as her first part of a series in The Mountain which was a short-lived television drama. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of the best TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. Her most memorable role was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. Her character was later seen on the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress-TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008 she took home the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time later. She performed the role of Marisol Deko as the spouse to David Caruso's Horatio. The most recent television appearance was on the character Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly more dark-hearted show Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are from Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. Her family was strict and religious one. Milano was just seven years young when her babysitter drove Milano to a talent show. Milano was among four girls chosen from over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano appeared in TV commercials and off Broadway programs, such as the American first adaptation musical of Jane Eyre.
