Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian and English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru's parents are Russian and Indian. She devised a choreography that earned her the privilege of appearing on German television as a Russian snowmaiden. Then, she became another Indian dancer. Her high school graduation was successful and was awarded a bachelor's degree in English from New York. She was a student of improv and comedy at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her parents were a Hindu and an Indian father, Ghanshan K Mahendru. She also had a Russian mother, Olga. She moved with her father to New York's East Meadow York when she was thirteen and a half years old. She stars in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable television performance. Also, she played recurring characters in The Following on Fox, The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
